Qualifications and Memberships

Caitlin graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy). Caitlin's thesis investigated treatment techniques for reducing neck pain and was published in the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine.

Whist studying at Victoria University, Caitlin worked as a massage therapists and also completed a sports trainers course with Sports Medicine Australia, allowing her to work as a trainer for an amateur football team.

On completion of her studies, Caitlin spent 3 years working as an osteopath in Queensland and is now happily back in Melbourne. Caitlin is registered with the Victorian Osteopaths Registration Board and is a member of the Australian Osteopathic association.

Areas of specialty and approach to treatment

Caitlin is an experienced and passionate practitioner with an interest in the treatment and maintenance of both acute and chronic injuries including spinal pain, sports and workplace injuries and headaches. Caitlin enjoys treating structurally, incorporating a wide variety of techniques to help restore function to the musculoskeletal system and help promote general health and well being.

Caitlin's treatments are tailored to suit the individual with an emphasis on education about the importance of exercise, posture at while at work, during recreation and during sleeping, and generally, leading a balanced lifestyle. She works in conjunction with other health professionals to ensure optimal treatment.
